Through the composition of collages that express opposing ideas we explore creating and expressing a strong visual concept. The personal interpretation and communication of the themed pair delves into the surreal in order to push past obvious solutions. Students choose from the following opposing themes: heaven/hell; nature/technology; love/hate; 2 elements (earth/air/fire/water); life/death; simple/complex; night/day; or abundance/scarcity.
