Students design a small booklet exploring a topic in graphic design history, with content created from their own research, writing, critical thinking and image gathering. The project is a combination of research, writing, design and craft. Students form an understanding of typographic hierarchy, readability, grid use, spacing, and alignment and utilize them as tools in design.
