Typeface Design
Students design all 26 English language characters in either upper or lower case, plus numerals and a subset of punctuation marks: period, comma, colon, semicolon, exclamation mark and question mark. The typeface is designed in black and white, focusing on making all characters sufficiently different from each other and identifiable as the intended letterform. Additionally, the typeface should display consistency, ensuring that the characters appear to belong together in the same system/family.
